Job summary

Greencore Spalding is seeking a Quality Auditor to audit, monitor and improve quality systems across the site. You will work with operations teams to ensure food safety standards meet Greencore, customer and legal requirements under QA supervision.

The role involves hands-on auditing on the factory floor, conducting sampling and traceability activities, and supporting investigations and NPD trials. Site-based, permanent contract, night shifts 18:00–06:00.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP and quality systems.
• Auditing experience in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to trace quality data and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance with QMS, GMP and HACCP and raise non-conformances.
• Identify root causes to reduce repeat issues.
• Conduct traceability audits and present findings.
• Perform sampling: microbiological, nutritional, swabs and organoleptic tests.
• Trend taste panels and suggest improvements.
• Calibrate equipment and manage out-of-tolerance actions.
• Support investigations into complaints and incidents.
• Assist NPD trials and product launches.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to factory teams.
• Contribute to KPI delivery through audits and improvements.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards.
