Job summary

Greencore Spalding Meals seeks a Quality Auditor to audit, monitor and continually improve quality systems on site. You will work with operations to ensure food safety, GMP compliance and traceability across three manufacturing facilities and a distribution centre.

You will conduct sampling, calibrate equipment, support investigations and NPD trials, and provide hands-on guidance to factory teams while promoting quality standards and a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance with QMS, GMP and HACCP and raise non-conformances.
• Identify root causes, reduce repeat non-conformances and drive actions.
• Conduct traceability audits and present findings clearly.
• Complete sampling activities including microbiological, nutritional and sensory tests.
• Facilitate taste panels and trend results; escalate out-of-spec outcomes.
• Calibrate factory measurement equipment and manage out-of-tolerance actions.
• Support investigations into complaints and incidents through audits and data.
• Support NPD trials, product launches, shelf-life assessments and testing.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to factory teams and during customer visits.
• Contribute to KPI delivery through audits and proactive improvements.
• Maintain a safe working environment aligned with health, safety & environment standards.
