Join Sofina Foods at our Humberstone Road production site in Grimsby as a Quality Assurance professional, ensuring food safety, quality, and product standards throughout the production process. You will support the QA Manager and Operations teams to meet customer, legal, and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in a QA role in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP and Root Cause Analysis.
• Internal auditing experience.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain quality and technical standards across the site
• Carry out quality checks and report any non-conformances
• Ensure raw materials and finished products meet specification requirements
• Conduct benchmarking, shelf-life, consistency, and sensory testing
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis
• Support customer audits and site visits
• Work closely with Production and NPD teams to maintain compliance
• Promote a right-first-time approach to quality standards

The Role

We are looking for a Quality Assurance professional to support food safety, quality, and product standards throughout the production process. Working closely with the QA Manager and Operations teams, you will help ensure products meet customer, legal, and company requirements.

Pay: £14.76 per hour

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts:
06:00-14:00
14:00-22:00

The Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification or equivalent
• Experience within a Quality Assurance role in food manufacturing
• Knowledge of HACCP and Root Cause Analysis
• Internal auditing experience
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications
• Proactive, organised, and committed to maintaining high standards
