Qualifications

About The Role
  • Maintain the documented production Quality Management System.
  • Ensure effective and timely completion of production process internal audits.
  • Participate in external audits of the production process, including compliance audits to BS EN ISO 9001.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and assist in developing corrective actions towards continual improvement of the production process.
  • Manage the Quality Assurance laboratory effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage, lead, train, and evaluate the competency of staff under your control, ensuring their safety, effectiveness, and efficiency of operation.
  • Liaise with relevant central process areas regarding product integrity.
  • Provide analysis and reports from internal controls and customer complaints.
  • Participate in product, production process, and raw material development.
  • Liaise with suppliers.
  • Maintain the accuracy of raw material stocks.
  • Supervise the upkeep of the site.
  • Act as quality representative as prescribed by BS EN ISO 9001.

Hours of Work: 7.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday

About You
  • Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Team Leader or similar role.
  • At least 1 year of people management experience with a transformational leadership style to promote teamwork, open communication, a can-do attitude, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • The ability to initiate, manage, evaluate, and accept change.
  • Experience using a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Laboratory testing experience.
  • Experience with quality policies and procedures.
  • Ability to manage, maintain, and operate quality control systems.
  • Sound understanding of health, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • ISO 9001 experience.
  • Encourage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Support and participate in 5S, Kaizen, and Visual Management techniques.
