Job description

Job Description

The Safety and Quality Specialist will provide field-based support to practice teams across Northern Ireland, Ireland & one area of Scotland (Glasgow or Edinburgh) in all aspects of dental regulation, including the requirements of our key regulators and the delivery of high-quality care to our patients. The Safety and Quality Specialist will support a culture of quality improvement and ensure a consistent approach to quality standards across all practices, whilst maintaining local accountability. They will be an expert in quality management in the dental sector, supporting teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing ongoing advice and support.

Qualifications
  • Experience of compliance within the dental sector.
  • Understanding of issues related to quality and compliance (e.g., infection control, decontamination, radiation).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, mediation, and negotiation skills; ability to engage effectively at all levels within an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage workload effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing clear reports and communications.
  • Ability to interpret complex information.
  • A proactive attitude and resilience under pressure.

Access to own vehicle, a valid UK driving license, and willingness to travel across the specified geographical area.
