Quality Assurance Manager - Leading UK Contractor

A leading UK contractor is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to shape and lead quality strategy and culture across its projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced quality professional to move beyond audits and paperwork, driving consistency, best practice and continuous improvement across a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and lead the overall business quality strategy and culture
  • Manage divisional quality procedures, ensuring adherence across multiple projects
  • Provide advice and support to Quality Managers and project teams
  • Develop the quality team and create learning pathways for staff
  • Deliver quality training to operational teams and embed best practice
  • Manage the quality audit programme and act as interim Quality Manager during project mobilisation where required
  • Support investigations into larger quality issues and share lessons learned
  • Build long-term relationships with suppliers and clients
Requirements
  • Formal qualification in a construction or quality-related subject
  • Extensive experience leading quality strategy within a construction environment
  • Chartered status with the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or working towards it
