Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality on construction projects across our civil teams in the UK. You will ensure compliance with client requirements and internal procedures, and report to the QA Manager on progress and issues.

You will audit construction activities, develop QMP/ITP with the Project Manager, investigate quality incidents, and drive continuous improvements while complying with health and safety legislation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years’ work experience in a quality-based role.
  • Experience with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 quality codes of practice.
  • Experience with the NCR process.
  • Root cause analysis (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone) experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to discuss complex quality issues with key stakeholders.
  • Good timekeeper, responsible, conscientious, punctual, highly organised, self-motivated.
  • A full UK Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Audit construction activities for compliance with procedures and quality plans.
  • Prepare, with the Project Manager, the project QMP and ITP for client acceptance.
  • Lead quality incident investigations and track corrective actions.
  • Monitor quality issues and determine root causes and corrective actions.
  • Attend project progress meetings to discuss quality problems and ensure action programmes are implemented.
  • Comply with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Contribute to handover documentation quality and final client acceptance.
  • Lead or support internal projects to improve quality effectiveness and efficiency.
