Job summary

Hoop Social Work is recruiting a Quality Assurance Manager for Cardiff Council Social Services. This directorate-wide role covers both Children’s and Adult Services and is offered on a hybrid basis in Cardiff.

You will lead the rollout of a new QA and Audit Strategy, embed QA processes across the directorate, and provide leadership to managers and practitioners to raise standards and share best practice.

Qualifications

• A social work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales (or eligibility to register).
• Solid post-qualifying experience and a real belief in the value of social work.
• Experience managing others and leading at managerial level.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that aims to improve services.

Responsibilities

£46,579 – £49,817

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays)

Hoop Social Work is working with Cardiff Council Social Services to recruit a Quality Assurance Manager. This is a directorate-wide role covering both Children's and Adult Services.

The role

You'll lead the rollout of a new Quality Assurance and Audit Strategy and put strong QA processes in place across the directorate. You'll work closely with teams to share good practice, keep standards high and build a "best practice first" culture.
