Job summary

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance within FE or apprenticeships.
  • Strong working knowledge of apprenticeship standards and ESFA funding rules.
  • Confident in preparing for and contributing to Ofsted inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Leading QA activities aligned to Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework.
  • Managing and developing the SAR and QIP.
  • Supporting QAR performance through data analysis and improvement planning.

Based in a vibrant part of central Birmingham,with excellent transport links, you will have the flexibility of 1-2days WFH. Ideally, you’ll bring experience from within the Early Yearseducation sector and a strong understanding of the uniquechallenges and standards of independent training providers,however if you feel you meet most but not all these requirements,we would still love to hear from you!

The Role

As Curriculum Quality Manager, you’ll play a pivotal rolein driving quality assurance across the organisation. You’ll have apassion for continuously monitoring and improving standards, ensuringcompliance with Ofsted and funding requirements, and supportingcurriculum development to enhance the learner experience.

Key responsibilities include

  • Leading QAactivities aligned to Ofsted’s Education Inspection Framework
  • Managing and developing the SAR and QIP
  • Workingclosely with Awarding Bodies and internal teams to maintain highstandards
  • Supporting QAR performance through data analysisand improvement planning
  • Leading curriculum reviews andresource enhancements
  • Taking ownership of the Matrixaccreditation process
  • Occasional travel to other officelocations to collaborate with colleagues
  • Overseeingcomplaints, appeals and learner feedback processes

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 3 years'experience in Quality Assurance within FE or apprenticeships
  • Strong working knowledge of apprenticeship standards and ESFAfunding rules
  • Confident in preparing for and contributing toOfsted inspections (Nominee experience is a bonus)
  • Strategicthinker with excellent communication skills
  • Previousexperience in Early Years education is highly desirable
