Job summary

Care UK is seeking an enthusiastic Regulatory Assurance Manager to help shape the future of care across its network of homes in the United Kingdom.

The role focuses on monitoring risk, driving regulatory compliance, and coaching operational teams to achieve high standards in assessments and safeguarding. A senior regulatory mindset and a commitment to quality governance are essential.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge and application of relevant legislation and regulatory framework.
• Experience of working in a senior regulatory or quality role.
• Knowledge of the care sector in particular care home-based services.
• Sound understanding of quality improvement & governance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse information from homes to identify risks and escalate concerns.
• Undertake regulatory assessments in line with regulators.
• Support teams with understanding of legislation and regulations.
• Provide coaching to operational teams.
• Work with homes to achieve high standards of assessments, inspections or safeguarding.
• Lead safeguarding investigations as required by Head of Regulatory Governance.
• Stay updated on Health and Social Care regulatory developments.
• Lead on compliance and quality improvement activities to meet business objectives.
• Conduct coaching and training to care home colleagues and wider Care UK as required.
