Job summary

Gousto in Warrington is seeking a QA Lead to coordinate the QA team’s daily roadmap, mentor staff, and manage rota/holiday planning. You will drive a culture of quality and ensure audits of production processes meet high standards.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee non-conformances, support the Pick Line QC, and help update the QMS. The role requires HACCP/BRC/GMP knowledge and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Proven QA experience in fast-paced food/e-commerce/manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC and GMP standards, with auditing experience.
• Confident team player who can supervise a shift-based team.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines.
• High computer literacy with Email, Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the QA team's daily roadmap and rota management.
• Drive a culture of quality with production teams and audits of processes.
• Coordinate non-conformance findings and corrective actions with managers.
• Oversee Pick Line Quality Controllers to improve replenishment and picking.
• Develop and update procedures for the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Coordinate QA requirements for new materials, shelf-life reviews and trials.
• Champion site health, safety and environmental continuous improvements.
