Job summary

Johnson Matthey in Royston is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to help sustain conformance to our ISO9001 systems and drive continuous improvement across production.

You will manage internal audits, support corrective actions, and champion quality tools such as 5 Whys and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications

• Experience with ISO9001 quality management systems.
• IQA or Six Sigma Green Belt training / certification.
• Experience in high-tech manufacturing production environments.
• Quality auditor training or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Create a culture of conformance to the internal QMS.
• Manage the Internal Audit schedule and assign Internal Audits and Corrective Actions.
• Ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented and conformance sustained.
• Carry out internal audits against ISO9001 and other relevant standards.
• Use quality tools like 5 Whys and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues.
• Document and maintain quality improvements in procedures/work instructions.
