Job description

Are you a Quality professional with experience within beverage or FMCG manufacturing?

Have you gained exposure to GMP/QMS audits, non-conformances and root cause investigations?

Are you ready to take the next step in your Quality career and gain international exposure across suppliers and contract manufacturers?

Monster Energy is looking for a QA Engineer to join its Global Quality team, supporting and continuously improving quality standards across its European manufacturing and supply network.

We're looking for someone who has built a strong foundation within Quality and is now ready to step into a broader regional role. You'll ideally have developed progressively within beverage, food or wider FMCG manufacturing, gaining practical experience across auditing, quality investigations, manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.

This isn't a purely desk-based QA position. You'll work directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers, travel internationally, attend production trials and play a hands-on role in identifying, investigating and resolving quality issues across Europe.

The Company

Monster isn't corporate. We're bold, fast, disruptive and unapologetically ambitious.

Since launching in 2002, Monster Energy has grown into one of the world's leading energy drink brands, with products now sold across approximately 141 countries and territories.

Despite operating at global scale, Monster retains the pace, ownership and ambition of a challenger business. Our culture is high-energy, accountable and built around people who are comfortable taking ownership, solving problems and challenging how things are done.

Quality plays a critical role in protecting our products, consumers and brand. This position offers the opportunity to develop your career within an international Quality function while gaining exposure to different manufacturers, suppliers, projects and markets across Europe.

The Role

Reporting to the QA Manager Europe, you'll support the delivery and continuous improvement of Quality Assurance processes across the European region.

A major part of your role will involve working directly with external suppliers and contract manufacturers, conducting scheduled GMP audits and helping ensure manufacturing and quality processes consistently meet Monster's standards.

You'll also become involved when things don't go to plan, investigating consumer complaints, incidents and non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis and ensuring issues are appropriately understood, addressed and tracked through to resolution.

Alongside day-to-day Quality Assurance, you'll support NPD and packaging projects, attend trial productions and help organise, facilitate and track quality validation activities.

You'll also analyse laboratory results, NPD information and wider quality metrics, turning technical information into clear findings and actions for stakeholders across the business.

With approximately 40% travel, including international travel, this is an opportunity to take an established foundation in Quality and build broader, regional experience within one of the world's most recognisable beverage brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct scheduled external GMP Quality Audits across suppliers and contract manufacturers.
  • Support the continuous improvement of QA processes across Europe.
  • Provide Quality Assurance guidance and support across assigned projects, particularly NPD.
  • Organise, facilitate and track quality assurance validation activities.
  • Investigate consumer complaints, incidents and non-conformances.
  • Support effective root cause analysis and resolution of identified quality issues.
  • Attend and monitor production trials, including NPD and packaging trials.
  • Analyse and interpret external laboratory results, NPD data and Quality metrics.
  • Identify quality risks and support the development of practical corrective actions.
  • Work closely with suppliers, contract manufacturers and internal teams to resolve Quality issues.
  • Communicate Quality findings effectively across different levels of the organisation, including senior stakeholders.
  • Support the wider regional Quality function as Monster continues to grow across Europe.

What We’re Looking For

  • Prior Quality Assurance experience, ideally demonstrating clear career progression and increasing responsibility.
  • Experience within beverage, food or a closely related FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Practical exposure to GMP and/or QMS auditing.
  • Experience managing or supporting non-conformances and quality incidents.
  • Good understanding of root cause analysis and problem solving.
  • Experience working within manufacturing environments and engaging with production or operational teams.
  • Strong analytical capability, including experience working with Quality data.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A track record demonstrating career stability, commitment and progression.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within an international team.
  • Comfortable travelling internationally approximately 40% of the time and working flexibly around production requirements.

Particularly valuable:

  • Direct experience within beverage manufacturing.
  • Experience auditing suppliers, co-packers or contract manufacturers.
  • Exposure to NPD, packaging or production trials.
  • Experience coordinating or supporting validation activities.
  • Experience investigating consumer complaints.
  • Experience working across multiple manufacturing sites, suppliers or countries.
