Job summary

Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking a Quality and Governance Administrator to join the Clinical Governance team on a part-time basis (15 hours/week). The role focuses on supporting governance, quality initiatives and incident management within a private hospital setting.

You will assist with audits, policy control, and documentation, ensuring timely actions and accurate records. The position requires good IT skills, reliability and a patient-centered approach to hospital processes.

Qualifications

  • Computer literate with strong Word and Excel skills.
  • GCSE/GCSE/CSE in English and Mathematics required.
  • Articulate and compassionate with good rapport-building.
  • Able to analyse and solve problems; self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Healthcare experience is preferable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Clinical Governance Lead with administration for governance and quality initiatives.
  • Support the audit program and monitor AMaT audits monthly and quarterly.
  • Maintain current hospital policies and support document control.
  • Monitor DATIX incidents and follow up on actions and reminders.
  • Support PSQR activities and prepare for governance forums.
  • Attend governance meetings and circulate agendas, minutes and action trackers.

Quality and Governance Administrator | Leicester | Part Time 15 hours per week

Spire Leicester Hospital have an exciting position for a well experienced Clinical Quality and Governance Administrator to join their Clinical Governance team on a part time basis.

Dutis and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Clinical Governance Lead, you will assist and support with the administration and seamless service provided by this department in relation to governance, quality and consultant compliance.

  • Support the audit program including monitoring compliance with AMaT
  • Monitor and ensure the departments complete the AMaT audits each month and quarter
  • Ensure the hospital database of local policies remain current and up to date, including supporting the hospital teams with document control
  • To support the Clinical Governance Lead in monitoring compliance with the DATIX incident database including sending reminders and monitoring the close out of DATIX incidents and actions
  • Support the hospital with PSQR activities/preparation
  • Provide administrative support for all key clinical governance forums
  • Attend the hospital's clinical governance meetings (Standards for Hospital Governance) and circulate the agenda, minutes and action trackers
Who we're looking for:
  • Computer Literate with a comprehensive demonstrable understanding of Word and Excel
  • Educated to GCSE/GCE/CSE standard in English and Mathematics
  • Articulate and compassionate - able to build a rapport with colleagues
  • Able to analyse and solve problems
  • Be self-motivated and be able to work under their own direction within scope of competency
  • Experience working within healthcare setting is preferable

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (between 8am to 6pm) 2 days a week
