Role Overview: Accountable for the site Quality Systems and ensuring compliance with customer and legal requirements related to Food Safety, Integrity, and Product Quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to Legal, Customer, and Group compliance standards for food processing.
2. Ensure Food Safety and Quality Standards are prioritized in line with the company's strategy.
3. Establish and maintain effective Technical Systems, communicate gaps to the Technical Team, and support operations to maximize their capabilities.
4. Serve as the data hub for the Technical team.

Person Specification:

To succeed in this role, you will be/have:

• Ability to engage and communicate confidently at various organizational levels.
• Experience working directly with or for UK food retailers.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and within a team in a factory environment.
• Experience managing internal audit programs within a food manufacturing site.
• Flexibility to undertake site-based tasks outside standard hours.
• Supportive skills to help individuals and teams meet objectives within set timeframes and budgets.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• A self-motivated, inquisitive individual with a drive for continuous improvement.

Training/Qualifications:

• HACCP Level 3 or 4
• Food Safety Level 3 or 4
• TACCP/VACCP
• BRC V9
• Lead Auditor certification
• Knowledge of Customer Codes of Practice and proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
