Job summary

Capita plc, in Portsmouth, is seeking a QA-focused trainer support role to help improve Royal Navy training outcomes. You will gather trainee feedback, assess instructors, and maintain evaluation records on a 37.5-hour week FTC through March 2027 at HMS Sultan.

Eligibility for UK Security Clearance at SC level is required. The role involves post-course discussions, QA activities, and data reporting to support training quality across courses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct post-course discussions with trainees to gather feedback and assess training effectiveness.
• Observe lessons and assess instructors to ensure training aligns with JSP 822 DSAT standards and criteria.
• Provide quality assurance and internal validation across training courses and modules.
• Maintain accurate assessment records, data and reporting systems for training quality monitoring.
• Contribute to quality improvement plans by identifying trends and sharing insights.
• Support quality control activities while following health, safety and environmental procedures.

Job description

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster - Play a vital role in improving training outcomes by gathering trainee feedback, assessing instructor performance, and helping to maintain exceptional training standards.

Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week FTC until end March 2027

HMS Sultan, Portsmouth

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.
