Job summary

Capita, delivering the Selborne training transformation for the Royal Navy, is hiring for a full-time QA role at HMS Sultan, Portsmouth. You’ll gather feedback, assess training delivery, and support quality improvement while ensuring safety procedures and data accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level required. 37.5 hours weekly, FTC until end March 2027, onsite facilities and a range of staff benefits.

• Knowledge of the education sector.
• Ability to hold conversations with a large number of people.
• Desirable: previous experience in QA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct post-course discussions with trainees to gather feedback and assess effectiveness.
• Observe lessons and assess instructors to ensure delivery aligns with JSP 822 DSAT standards.
• Provide quality assurance and internal validation across training courses and modules.
• Maintain accurate assessment records, data, and reporting systems for quality monitoring.
• Identify trends and contribute to quality improvement plans.

Job description

Help get better trained personnel to the front line faster - Play a vital role in improving training outcomes by gathering trainee feedback, assessing instructor performance, and helping to maintain exceptional training standards.

Full-time role, 37.5 hours a week FTC until end March 2027

HMS Sultan, Portsmouth

Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

What you'll be doing

• Provide quality assurance and internal validation activities across training courses and modules.
• Maintain accurate assessment records, data, and reporting systems to support training quality monitoring.
• Contribute to quality improvement plans by identifying trends, sharing insights, and recommending improvements.
• Support quality control activities while ensuring health, safety, and environmental procedures are followed at all times.
