Job summary

Sanofi Waterford is seeking a Quality Analyst Microbiology to support the QC team and perform QC testing in a fast-paced biopharma environment. You will review documentation and provide technical guidance across QA, validation and manufacturing to ensure compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias.

The role involves environmental monitoring, water sampling, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. A BSc in a scientific field and GMP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a QC department in a Pharmaceutical or GMP facility.
• Experience in Microbiological techniques.
• Understand KPIs and quality metrics.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g. Veeva/Qualipso/Trackwise).
• Knowledge of lab management systems (e.g. LUNA).

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, Qualified Persons, Validation and Manufacturing.
• Documentation review and batch release review.
• Offer technical guidance to QC Microbiology and other departments.
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling, water testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs and pharmacopeias.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology at cross-functional meetings.
