Job summary

Sanofi Waterford seeks a Quality Analyst Microbiology to support QC testing, environmental monitoring and batch release in a fast-paced biopharma environment.

Collaborate with QA, Validation, Manufacturing and Planning to ensure compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias; drive continuous improvement in the lab. This on-site role in Waterford offers development across the microbiology lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related).
• Experience in a QC department within a pharmaceutical or GMP setting.
• Experience with microbiological techniques and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide Microbiology support to QA, Qualified Persons, Validation, and Manufacturing.
• Perform documentation review and batch release review.
• Offer technical guidance to QC Microbiology and cross-functional teams.
• Execute QC Microbiology testing (water sampling/testing, environmental monitoring, compressed air/nitrogen, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and pharmacopeias and SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the lab.
• Represent QC Microbiology at cross-functional meetings.
