Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Quality Advisor to oversee quality activities for the Energy division at NOWZ - Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone (NR11 6LS). The role focuses on promoting best practices, auditing sites, and supporting project teams to ensure compliance with Quality Plans and contract requirements.

With exposure to a broad range of EPC-style activities, you will drive Right First Time delivery, oversee nonconformance reporting and lead quality campaigns across projects.

  • Experience within a quality role or a similar role.
  • Relevant Quality Membership (CQI)

Responsibilities

  • Champion the Quality – Right First Time initiative.
  • Establish and promote best practice in quality matters with the Quality function.
  • Support site management to ensure compliance with Quality Plans.
  • Carry out regular inspections and audits to verify work aligns with company policy and requirements.
  • Promote reporting of nonconformances and advise on corrective actions.
  • Collate and review quality statistics for reporting purposes.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for improvement from quality data.
  • Develop and implement quality campaigns and improvement plans with Quality Management.
  • Support Project teams in developing Quality Plans and documentation.
  • Maintain records to ensure compliance with procedures and contract requirements.

Murphy is recruiting for a Quality Advisor to work with Energy on NOWZ - Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone - NR11 6LS

A day in the life of a Murphy Quality Advisor:

  • Be a champion for the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative.
  • Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
  • Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans.
  • Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and work places to find whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
  • Promote the reporting of nonconformances and provide advice on closing out actions.
  • Collate and review Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality function for reporting purposes.
  • Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management.
  • Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
  • Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
  • Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements
  • Experience within a Quality role or a similar role.
  • Relevant Quality Membership (CQI)
