Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Quality Advisor to work with Energy on Western Gas. The role includes championing the Quality – Right First Time initiative, establishing best practice, and supporting site management with Quality Plans across EPC projects in multiple countries.

Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, promoting nonconformances reporting, and developing quality campaigns and documentation to ensure compliance with contracts and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Quality role or similar.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and compliance.
  • Experience supporting project teams with quality plans.

  • Support site management to ensure compliance with Quality Plans.
  • Carry out regular inspections and audits to verify conformance with Company Policy and Contract Requirements.
  • Promote reporting of nonconformances and assist in closing out actions.
  • Collate and review quality statistics and report to the Quality Management and Quality function.
  • Review quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management.
  • Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
  • Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
  • Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements.

A day in the life of a Murphy Quality Advisor:
  • Be a champion for the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative.
  • Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
  • Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans.
  • Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and work places to find whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
  • Promote the reporting of nonconformances and provide advice on closing out actions.
  • Collate and review Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality function for reporting purposes.
  • Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with the Quality Management.
  • Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
  • Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
  • Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements
