In this role, you will work closely with our Quality Manager and will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with the applicable standard (ISO 9001).

Cellular Origins is currently in the process of obtaining ISO 9001 certification. This role will support the Quality Manager and the wider business in completing the necessary steps to achieve this. Responsibilities include supporting continuous improvement initiatives, managing document and record control, and participating in internal and external audits.

You will administer and maintain the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), manage document control processes—including review, revision, and archiving of quality documents such as SOPs, WIs, and forms.

  1. Develop and provide training related to QMS.
  2. Oversee maintenance of training records.
  3. Ensure system compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  4. Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate, up-to-date records.
  5. Assist with internal and external audits.
  6. Track and report on quality metrics (e.g., CAPAs, NCRs, training compliance).
  7. Coordinate and monitor CAPA processes.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
  9. Support risk management activities and change control processes.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, finance, engineering such as environment, aerospace, or automotive).
  • Experience with Quality or Business Management Systems and ISO standards.
  • Proficiency with eQMS platforms.
  • Experience with the audit process, strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • This is a full-time on-site role at our campus in Melbourn.

Desirable:

  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485.
  • Internal auditor certification.
  • Knowledge of Cognidox/SharePoint.
