Job summary

Opus Teach are recruiting for an exciting long-term Year 6 teaching opportunity at a welcoming primary school near Thetford, starting in January and running through to July.

The school is seeking an experienced Year 6 teacher who can deliver the year group curriculum, support SATs preparation, and provide consistent leadership throughout the year. Full-time position; job share may be considered.

• Has previous Year 6 teaching experience.
• Is confident delivering the Year 6 curriculum and preparing pupils for SATs.
• Can provide consistency and strong classroom leadership throughout the academic year.
• Is committed to seeing the class through to the end of the summer term.

Responsibilities

• Full-time position (job share may be considered).
• Planning and marking will be expected.
• Class of approximately 30 pupils.
• On-site parking available.
• Weekly staff meetings on Mondays (finishing around 4:30pm).

The school is specifically seeking someone with proven upper KS2 experience who can step in confidently from day one.
