Qualified Social Worker, Fostering Team

Pay rate: £35 per hour

Contract role

Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Social Worker for a Fostering Team in Warrington.

This position is for 4 days a week (29.6 hours).

Together for Adoption is a Regional Adoption Agency serving Wigan, Warrington, Halton, St Helens, and Cheshire West and Chester local authorities. We seek a social worker experienced in fostering or adoption to play a vital role in recruiting, assessing, and supporting prospective adoptive parents. Responsibilities include conducting initial and comprehensive assessments of adopters, supporting them through approval and matching processes, placement of children, and until the adoption order is granted. The role also involves attending recruitment campaigns, providing a duty recruitment system, delivering information sessions, preparation groups for adopters, and additional training programs as needed.
