The successful candidate will work on complex adult social care cases, conduct Care Act and mental capacity assessments, and partner with families and health professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
• Strong experience within Adult Social Services.
• Excellent knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act.
• Ability to manage complex caseloads independently; strong assessment, safeguarding and reporting.
• Excellent communication and multi-agency working skills.
• Proactive, person-centred practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.
• Manage a varied caseload of adults with complex social care needs.
• Complete Mental Capacity Assessments and safeguarding inquiries.
• Develop person-centred, strengths-based care and support plans.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and outcomes for service users.
• Collaborate with families, carers, health professionals and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure statutory compliance.

The Opportunity

• Council: Redbridge Council
• Pay Rate: Up to £32.00 per hour (Umbrella)
• Contract: Full-time Locum
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
• Working Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews.

What We're Looking For
