Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Physical Education Teacher to join welcoming secondary schools in Ealing. You will deliver high-quality PE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential KS5 depending on experience, and hit the ground running.

The role focuses on engaging lessons, developing fitness and teamwork, assessing progress, and leading extracurriculars. You will work with a supportive PE department and contribute to a positive school community.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education in UK secondary schools.
  • Ability to deliver engaging PE lessons independently from day one.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Passion for promoting sport, physical wellbeing and positive pupil outcomes.
  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

We're working with welcoming Secondary Schools in Ealing looking for a qualified and experienced Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join their team. What you'll be doing
  • Teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on your experience
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire pupils to enjoy sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles
  • Developing students' fitness, confidence, teamwork and resilience through a broad and inclusive PE curriculum
  • Assessing progress, providing meaningful feedback and helping every student achieve their personal best
  • Leading and supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school sporting events
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a thriving PE department and wider school community
What we're looking for
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification, this role is not suitable for unqualified teachers
  • Proven experience teaching Physical Education in UK secondary schools
  • The confidence and expertise to deliver engaging PE lessons independently from the outset
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to motivate pupils of all abilities
  • A genuine passion for promoting sport, physical wellbeing and positive outcomes for young people
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
