Job summary

TeacherActive in Birmingham is seeking a female PE Teacher to inspire pupils through engaging and challenging Physical Education lessons. The role is permanent and starts from November, with duties including delivering PE lessons, assessing pupil progress and contributing to the curriculum.

You will work in an environment with outstanding facilities and opportunities to develop teaching through research-based approaches, assessment, and Form Tutor responsibilities supporting student development.

The school is looking to appoint a PE Teacher on a permanent basis from November. The successful PE Teacher will deliver engaging Physical Education lessons, assess and monitor pupil progress, contribute to curriculum development and enrichment, and undertake Form Tutor responsibilities supporting pupils' academic progress and personal development.

The successful PE Teacher will have:

• QTS with a relevant Physical Education specialism
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging PE lessons
• Experience monitoring, assessing and supporting pupil progress
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to maintain high standards of behaviour
• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting pupils' academic and personal development
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continued professional development
