Job summary

TeacherActive are partnering with a fantastic all-year-round nursery in Chelmsford to recruit a Nursery Practitioner on a permanent basis. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with working hours between 8:00am and 6:00pm and a competitive hourly rate from £14.25, dependent on qualifications and experience.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS and child development.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Ability to plan and support engaging activities.

Responsibilities

• Work across the nursery as required.
• Permanent, full-time position.
• Hours: 8:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday.
• Salary from £14.25 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Contribute to high-quality childcare and staff development.
• Room placement discussed during the interview process.
