Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Ltd in Chelmsford is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to join an outstanding nursery team. The role involves delivering engaging activities, supporting learning through play and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for every child.

You will work 40 hours per week across 4 or 5 days (Mon-Fri) and hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or an equivalent credential. DBS check required.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a childcare setting.
• Experience supporting early years development through play.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities promoting learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
• Observe, assess and monitor children's development and progress.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Support day-to-day nursery operations and maintain high care standards.
• Follow EYFS framework and lead by example in early years practices.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support learning and development.
• Contribute ideas to enhance the nursery environment.
