Job summary

Childbase Partnership is hiring a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above) to join our Devonshire Day Nursery in Chiswick. The role is permanent with 18–40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, with varied shifts from 07:30 to 18:30 across Monday to Friday.

You will use your EYFS knowledge to plan play-based learning as a Key Person, observe and record progress, and uphold safeguarding to ensure every child feels safe and valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the EYFS to work as a Key Person, planning and implementing engaging activities.
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting children’s well-being.
• Collaborative approach with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Work as a Key Person to support individual development.
• Collaborate with families and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
