Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above) to work at Devonshire Day Nursery in Chiswick. You will play a crucial role in creating learning opportunities, planning engaging activities, and ensuring the well-being of children.

Job description

Position

Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above).

Location and Hours

Devonshire Day Nursery, Chiswick, W4 2AH.

Contract: Permanent. Hours: 18‑40 per week. 52 weeks a year.

Working pattern: Full and part‑time options 2‑5 days a week, shifts between 07:30am and 18:30pm.

Pay

£29,473.60‑£34,590.40 per annum (pro‑rata) – £14.17‑£16.63 per hour.

About You

• Qualified early years professional with a DfE‑approved early years qualification at level 2 or above.
• Skilled in creating opportunities for learning: knowledge of the EYFS to work as a Key Person, planning and implementing high‑quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play, and observing, assessing and recording children’s progress.
• Advocate for safeguarding: ensuring every child feels safe, valued and happy and promoting their well‑being.
• Collaborative: enjoy working in partnership with children, parents and colleagues, communicating effectively and building strong, positive relationships.
