Job summary

Childbase Partnership is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above) for Woodlands Day Nursery in Barnet. The role offers permanent terms with 18–40 hours per week across 52 weeks, with shifts from 07:30 to 18:30.

You will hold a DfE approved early years qualification at level 2 or above, plan engaging activities using EYFS, and safeguard every child while building strong partnerships with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• DfE approved early years qualification (level 2+) is required.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to plan engaging activities.
• Safeguarding responsibilities to ensure wellbeing.
• Collaborative work with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high quality, engaging activities to promote learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress.
• Work as a Key Person to support individual learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to build strong relationships.
