Job summary

Childbase Partnership is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or above) for River View Day Nursery, Hertford. The role is permanent with 18-40 hours per week, across 52 weeks, with shifts 07:30–18:30.

Salary ranges from £27,040 to £32,427.20 per year (pro-rata) or £13.00–£15.59 per hour. We offer generous leave, work-life balance, childcare savings, wellbeing support, and strong career development through our academy.

Qualifications

• You hold a DfE approved early years qualification at level 2 or above.
• Knowledge of the EYFS to plan and implement activities as a Key Person.
• Ability to safeguard and work in partnership with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement high quality, engaging activities that promote learning through play.
• Observe, assess and record children’s progress as part of daily practice.
• Act as a Key Person to support individual learning journeys and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with parents and team to deliver consistent care and safeguarding.
