Job summary

Childbase Partnership Limited is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner at Edwalton Day Nursery in Nottingham. The role requires a Level 2 or above in early years and involves planning engaging activities, observing progress, and safeguarding all children.

You will work varied shifts Mon-Fri 07:30–18:30, 37.5–40 hours per week, with a salary of £27,040–£30,929.60 per year (pro‑rata) or £13.00–£14.87 per hour (pro‑rata).

Qualifications

• Qualified early years professional with EYFS knowledge.
• Experience planning and delivering high-quality play-based learning.
• Strong safeguarding practices and child safety focus.
• Excellent communication with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging activities to promote learning through play.
• Observe and assess children's progress and record development.
• Collaborate with parents and team to support well‑being.
• Ensure safeguarding and safety policies are followed.
