Qualified Nursery Nurse

Nurse Seekers are proud to be working on behalf of x2 quality day nurseries who are looking to employ a passionate and enthusiastic Level 2 or 3 Qualified Nursery Nurse to join their settings based near Redhill and Horley on either a full or part time basis. The successful candidate must have a true passion for childcare and provide the highest level of care and education for children attending the nursery.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a positive practice role model to ensure that the Company values are maintained.
  2. Ensure that equality of access and opportunity is afforded to all staff, parents and children.
  3. Supervise and support children at all times.
  4. Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment.
  5. Prepare and supervise activities.
  6. Read, understand and implement all Company policies, procedures and operational practices.
  7. Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  8. Ensure that any changes to policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to within the required timescale.
  9. Notify the line manager of any concerns or issues regarding Company policies, procedures and operational practices.
  10. Maintain a positive attitude at all times with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues.
  11. Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained.
  12. Attend regular staff meetings, planning meetings and undertake training as required.
  13. Work as part of a team to ensure that the company's values are maintained.
