• Excellent attention to detail and reliable, professional customer service.

Job description

We're looking for a skilled, qualified electrician to join a growing local business with an increasing workload and a strong pipeline of work.

With a new contract for 50+ EV charger installations per month, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking for consistent work and the chance to develop their EV installation experience.

The Role

EV charger installations will make up a substantial part of your workload, alongside a variety of domestic and commercial electrical work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• EV charger installations
• Electrical inspection and testing
• Consumer unit replacements
• Fault finding and repairs
• Domestic and commercial electrical installations
• Testing and certification
• Completing accurate job records and certificates
• Maintaining a professional standard when working in customers' properties
• Leaving every job clean, tidy and safe

You'll be expected to work independently, take pride in your workmanship and provide a high standard of customer service.

You’ll need:

• Fully qualified, time-served electrician status
• Current ECS/SJIB Electrician Card
• 18th Edition qualification
• Up-to-date knowledge of BS 7671
• City & Guilds #removed# Inspection & Testing, or equivalent
• Recognised EV Charger Installation qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong testing and fault-finding skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good organisation and reliability
• Professional communication and customer service skills

Previous EV charger installation experience is desirable
