Job summary

Thrive Personnel Services Ltd is seeking a qualified Electrician to join its EV installation team. You will install EV charging points at commercial properties, test and commission electrical work, and travel between sites using a company van.

Work is 8:00am–5:00pm with planned workload 4–6 weeks in advance. Expect around two installations per day, a structured schedule, and opportunities for paid overtime as the EV sector grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with 18th edition
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Hold a full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Install EV charging points at commercial properties

We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our clients growing team, specialising in EV charger installations.

This is a well-organised role with approximately 2 installations per day, giving you a clear and manageable workload. Your planner will be provided 4-6 weeks in advance, allowing you to plan your working schedule ahead of time.

The Role

As an Electrician - EV Installation, your main responsibilities will include:

• Installing EV charging points at commercial properties
• Carrying out electrical installation, testing and commissioning
• Completing approximately 2 EV installations per day
• Working between 8:00am and 5:00pm
• Travelling to customer properties using a company van
• Ensuring all electrical work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Diagnosing and resolving installation issues where required
• Completing installation paperwork, certification and job records
• Providing professional and friendly customer service
• Working independently while following company procedures and technical standards
