Example Recruitment Group is seeking a fully qualified electrician to install domestic EV charging points across the South East. You will work on a self-employed basis with autonomy and the opportunity to expand into battery storage and solar projects.

Essential qualifications include NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and recognised EV charging certifications. A van and tools are required, with all major materials supplied.

Formación

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing.
• Recognised EV Charging Qualification (City & Guilds 2921, EAL, LCL Awards or equivalent).
• AM2.

Responsabilidades

• Attend domestic properties to install EV chargers to a high standard.
• Work autonomously with strong customer-facing service.
• Ensure works comply with current electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Cover areas including Basingstoke, Guildford, Reading, Oxford, Watford and surrounding areas.

Are you a fully qualified electrician with experience installing EV charging points? We're looking for reliable, customer-focused electricians to join a growing programme delivering domestic EV charger installations across the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for electricians seeking regular work, autonomy, and the chance to expand into the rapidly growing renewable energy sector.

Essential Requirements

What you`ll need

• Proven experience installing domestic EV charge points
• Own van, tools and consumables
• Strong customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and complete works to a high standard

Desirable

• ECS Gold Card
• Solar PV experience
• Battery Storage experience
• Experience working on renewable energy projects

You'll be attending domestic properties carrying out EV charger installations to a high standard, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations. With demand continuing to grow, there is also a clear pathway into battery storage and solar installations for those looking to broaden their renewable energy experience.
