Aspire People is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for supply roles across nurseries in the Birmingham area. This flexible position lets you pick hours that suit your lifestyle while helping children learn and develop through play, following the EYFS framework.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (preferred).
• Paediatric First Aid certification, or willingness to complete a two-day First Aid training course.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Flexibility and confidence to adapt to different nursery settings.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play and everyday activities.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Meet children's individual care and developmental needs.
• Observe, monitor and record children's progress where required.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and nursery colleagues.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
