Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for flexible supply roles in nurseries across Birmingham and Sandwell. This position suits those wanting extra hours, returning to childcare or choosing when and where they work, with assignments throughout the week.

Responsibilities include supporting children's learning and development, delivering EYFS activities, and building positive relationships with children and parents.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Paediatric First Aid certification, or willingness to complete a two-day course.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach to working with young children.
• Flexibility and confidence to adapt to different nursery settings.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play and everyday activities.
• Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Meet children's individual care and developmental needs.
• Observe, monitor and record children's progress where required.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and nursery colleagues.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
