Job summary

Bright Horizons Hertford Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring part-time Nursery Practitioner. You’ll support EYFS delivery by engaging children in educational activities and helping colleagues with day-to-day room tasks. A strong focus on safeguarding and learning through play is essential.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification and have experience with children in nursery settings. Flexible hours, DBS checks, and a supportive team culture are offered at Hertford location.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous nursery experience working with children.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding principles.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities for children.
• Work with a larger team to complete day-to-day tasks and room prep.
• Encourage development towards key milestones in a supportive environment.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and welcoming learning space.
