Job summary

Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team in Burgess Hill. You will support EYFS delivery through engaging activities and contribute to the team’s day-to-day tasks.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification and relevant experience with children. We offer a childcare discount, enhanced parental leave, pension and wellbeing benefits, with various shift options to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Support colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones.
• Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed, such as room tidying and preparation.
