Qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) - Remote

Please note: this role can be worked within the UK and not overseas. Based in Ipswich but with roles throughout the UK, IPRS Health is a leading provider of rehabilitation services with an in-house team of mental health practitioners, including CBT Therapists, Counsellors, and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and deliver, under supervision, outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Deliver treatment to patients experiencing mild/moderate mental health difficulties.
  • Provide a range of support for evidence-based treatments, including telephone, video, or written/typed communication.
Qualifications
  • Have a professional qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Have full BABCP accreditation

Experience
  • Minimum of three years post-CBT qualification mental health experience in both face-to-face and virtual treatment in public or private healthcare settings.
Knowledge
  • Computer literate with good Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Skills
  • Ability to work with your team to achieve the best outcomes for patients. Effective problem-solving, prioritisation, clear communication, and time management in a demanding environment.
Requirements and Benefits
  • Salary: £41,000 – £48,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time). Salary range increased July 2025.
  • Position: Permanent
  • Hours: Full or part-time available (full-time 40 hours; part-time minimum 24 hours per week)
