We have a fantastic opportunity to join a global accountancy firm in their boutique Belfast office as a Chartered Accountant. This role has arisen due to sustained growth within the business and would be ideal for a newly qualified accountant coming from a practice background (small or large). The successful applicant will join a small Belfast team responsible for delivering a range of services including Accountancy, Tax, and Assurance.

Role

• Responsible for delivering accountancy, tax, and assurance services to a diverse client portfolio.
• Reporting directly to a Client Manager.
• Opportunity to collaborate with specialists across various disciplines within the firm.
• Support available from experienced colleagues when advising clients on areas such as general accountancy and tax matters, business growth strategies, financial management, and compliance.
• Suitable for newly qualified Chartered Accountants.
• Ideal for individuals looking to develop their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Criteria

• 3 or more years of accountancy, tax, or assurance experience is essential.
• Working knowledge of corporate accounting, tax, and audit matters (UK GAAP, FRS102, and ISAs).
• Ability to review systems and processes and to make improvements where necessary.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience within practice, part-qualified accountant, or candidates qualified by experience.
• Experience with Xero would be ideal but is not essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
