Job summary

SPS Bus is recruiting qualified PCV Drivers to support the Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater. You’ll transport the workforce to site and back, with professional training, competitive hourly pay, and clear progression on tenure.

Shifts run 24/7 with 46-48 hours weekly; part-time options exist. You’ll need Category D entitlement, full UK licence (24+ months), and CPC. Commuting radius and a flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Category D entitlement (Bus/Coach licence).
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 24 months with no more than 6 points.
• Valid CPC.
• Great customer service skills & experience—friendly, reliable, and professional.
• A flexible approach to shifts.
• To live within reasonable commuting radius.

• Operate 24/7 shifts with flexible rosters.

Qualified Bus/Coach Drivers for Hinkley Point C project

Location: Bridgwater

Pay:

• £16.69phincreasing to £17.77ph after 12 months service
• Hourly increase for hours worked between 1800-2300hrs = 14%
• Hourly increase for hours worked between 2300-0600hrs = 25%
• Hourly increase for weekend/overtime pay = 25%
• Travel allowance– subject to eligibility
• End of year annual pay review

We have a limited number of opportunities for qualified PCV Drivers to join our team. You’ll be driving the workforce to and from one of the UK’s most exciting infrastructure projects; HPC. At SPS, our drivers don’t just get people to work — they keep the project moving. And we do it together, with professional training, great pay and genuine support from day one.

Shifts

We operate 24/7 to keep the workforce moving.

• Shifts between0300–midnight(full flexibility required within the provided timeframes)
• Average46-48 hours a week
• Shifts vary between 4 and 5 days a week on a rota basis including weekends
• Shift lengths vary between 8-14hrs
• Part time hours available (2-4 shifts per week)

What You’ll Need

• Category D entitlement (Bus/Coach licence)
• A full UK driving licence (held for at least 24 months) with no more than 6 points
• Valid CPC
• Great customer service skills & experience — friendly, reliable, and professional
• A flexible approach to shifts
• To live within reasonable commuting radius
