Job summary

Teaching Personnel Cambridge is recruiting qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants for a range of full-time roles across Cambridge and surrounding areas, including general classroom TAs and 1:1 support staff, with SEND experience encouraged.

Typical duties include supporting lessons, working with pupils individually or in small groups, promoting positive behaviour, monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 2/Level 3 Teaching Assistants or candidates with relevant experience.
• Confident, reliable and enthusiastic individuals.
• Experience working with children or young people; SEND experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher with lessons and classroom activities.
• Work with pupils individually and in small groups.
• Provide 1:1 support where required.
• Support SEND and additional learning needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and independence.
• Monitor progress and feed back to teaching staff.

Teaching Personnel Cambridge is recruiting qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants for a range of full-time roles across Cambridge and surrounding areas.

We have opportunities for general classroom TAs and 1:1 support staff, including roles supporting pupils with SEND and additional learning needs.

Typical duties include:

• Supporting the teacher with lessons and classroom activities
• Working with pupils individually and in small groups
• Providing 1:1 support where required
• Supporting SEND and additional learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour, confidence and independence
• Helping pupils remain engaged with their learning
• Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff
• Supporting a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment

We are looking for:

• Qualified Level 2/Level 3 Teaching Assistants and/or candidates with relevant experience
• Confident, reliable and enthusiastic individuals
• Previous experience working with children or young people
• Candidates with SEND experience are particularly encouraged to apply
