ICAEW is seeking a Qualified Accountant to support partners with a portfolio of medium-sized and larger entities. This non‑audit role can be 100% remote or hybrid and focuses on detailed accounts work, corporation tax and special projects.

Your responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, multi-entity consolidations and handling complex accounting issues, while maintaining client relationships and coordinating with the audit team.

Formación

• ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2 years' post‑qualification experience (or newly qualified with strong relevant experience).
• Senior or Assistant Manager level experience within practice.
• Strong working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production software.
• Experience with medium-sized entities and complex groups.
• Technically strong in financial reporting.
• Solid corporation tax knowledge.
• Confident communicator, capable of remote client interaction.
• Well organised and deadline‑driven.
• Enjoy developing others and contributing to a positive team culture.

An established and highly respected regional accountancy firm is looking to appoint a Qualified Accountant to support the partners, working with a portfolio of clients, consisting of medium‑sized and larger entities.

This is a non‑audit role, and can be based 100% remote or hybrid and is ideal for a technically strong accountant who enjoys getting into the detail of accounts, corporation tax and special projects.
Your work will include:

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts for medium-sized and larger entities and groups (note some smaller FRS102 1A accounts will also be included)
• Preparation of multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations
• Dealing with complex technical accounting issues, including research and documenting conclusions
• Contributing towards client satisfaction via regular communication, maintaining strong ongoing relationships
• Liaising with the audit team to ensure alignment across assignments
• Managing and supporting corporation tax and VAT compliance and related submissions, with support from our specialists
• Assisting with specialist and ad hoc assignments
• Reviewing work and supporting more junior team members across the firm

Who we're looking for

• ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 2 years' post‑qualification experience (or newly qualified with strong relevant experience)
• Experienced working at Senior or Assistant Manager level within practice
• Strong working knowledge of CCH Accounts Production software
• Proven experience working with medium-sized entities and complex groups
• Are technically strong, particularly in financial reporting and corporation tax.
• Enjoy working on complex or unusual matters and getting into the detail
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and colleagues remotely
• Well organised, dependable and comfortable managing deadlines
• Enjoy developing others and contributing to a positive team culture
• Like working as part of a collaborative team while also taking ownership of your work.
