Job summary

QTS Tutor SEN role in Stone, Staffordshire. Temporary/part-time, 20 hours per week, pay £30–£35 per hour depending on experience. Requires QTS and experience delivering tailored lessons in Maths, English, or Science.

Job Title: QTS Tutor SEN Staffordshire Location: Stone, Staffordshire Pay Rate: GBP30GBP35 per hour (depending on experience) Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience delivering tailored lessons in core subjects such as Maths, English, or Science.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) essential.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN. Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Experience teaching or tutoring core subjects including Maths and English.
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
• Right to work in the UK. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Desirable: Experience delivering GCSE or Functional Skills tuition.
• Previous experience in alternative provision, SEN schools, or one-to-one tutoring.
• Knowledge of differentiated teaching and trauma-informed approaches.
