Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Oxfordshire is seeking a QTS Tutor to deliver engaging tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE, with flexible hours and a temporary/part-time arrangement. You will plan personalised lessons, adapt for different learners, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback while supporting students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.

Location: Oxfordshire
Pay Rate: £25-£35 per hour
Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and curriculum‑aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.

Requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt lessons to different learners.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

Desired

• Experience supporting students with SEN or SEMH needs.
• Background in tutoring or delivering targeted interventions.
