Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Rochdale is recruiting a QTS SEN Tutor to start in September 2026. The role involves delivering GCSE Maths and English tuition to SEN learners on a one-to-one basis in a supportive setting.

You will adapt teaching strategies to students' emotional and academic needs, track progress, provide feedback to parents, and work 20 hours per week on a temporary, part-time basis. A safeguarding and DBS check will be required, and eligibility to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

We are seeking a QTS SEN Tutor to join our team in Rochdale for a September start. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learners working below expected levels. Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).

Desirable Qualifications

• PGCE in Secondary Education.
• Experience supporting students with Autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs.
